The Story Behind the Design
Known simply by its color code, OG-107 (Olive Green, shade 107), these pants trace back to the late 1940s, when the earliest version was cut from herringbone twill cotton. By 1958, the design evolved into a thicker straight cotton twill construction — the version collectors and military style enthusiasts consider the true classic.
One clever detail carries through to this reissue: the fabric is satin, worn reverse-side out. This avoids the excess sheen you'd get from satin's front face, giving the pants that rugged, matte military texture on the outside — while keeping the inside soft and comfortable against the skin.
